About SnapLobby
SnapLobby is a free, anonymous way to share files without an account. Create a temporary lobby identified by a six-character code, share it, and anyone who has the code can drop files in or download them. When the lobby's timer runs out, the lobby and every file in it are permanently deleted — no sign-up, no inbox, no trace.
How it works
- Create a lobby. Choose how long it lives (5 minutes to 4 hours), optionally set a password, and pick how many people can join (up to 50).
- Share the code. Hand off the six characters, a link, or the QR code.
- Drop files in. Anyone in the lobby can upload and download, up to 100 MB of storage per lobby.
- It self-destructs. When the timer hits zero, the lobby and every file in it are permanently deleted.
Why ephemeral
Most file sharing leaves a permanent copy somewhere — an account, an inbox, a link that lives forever. SnapLobby is built for the opposite: a quick, in-the-moment handoff that cleans up after itself. Nothing lingers, because the whole room disappears when its timer ends.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need an account?
No. SnapLobby never asks you to sign up or log in.
How long do files last?
Only as long as the lobby. When its timer ends, the lobby and every file in it are permanently deleted.
Is it private?
Lobbies are reachable only by their code and can be password-protected. Files are stored privately and served over time-limited links — see the privacy page for details.
What happens when a lobby expires?
The lobby and all of its files are permanently removed.
